This is a pretty cool one from mid-summer

A small gang of friends turned up to take the challenge on Sunday. In the pouring rain on Sunday morning we looked at each other with amusement as we warmed up with Miss Motivator for the River Ness 10k.
The challenge had been set, run the 10k in minutes to match your age in years. For every minute you are out donate £1/£2/£5……£10? And convince your friends to match the donation
Please donate here
Michael Kennedy ran remotely and we trust him when he tells us he was base time plus 2 1/2 minutes! Jamie did his first sub 40 (base plus 7) Well done guys. Jim was happy with a base plus 10. John and Bruce, 10 k rookies, smashed their expected times and performed well.
I didn’t achieve the personal best I had hoped for, you don’t want to hear my excuses, finishing in just under 53 secs (base plus 13) However my secondary and tertiary goals of raising money for Highland Hospice and getting some mates out for some fun and exercise were.
So please click on my justgiving link above and donate to The Highland Hospice
I guess if I provide tourist accommodation in Fife I shouldn’t really be raving about Mull and recommending you go to the other side of Scotland?
Well the the discerning traveler will make it to Crail sometime!!
It was by default that we spent so much time there, as Florence, our campervan for the week, gave up the ghost in Perth only 38 miles into the journey. After the third visit of the Automobile Association plus a Perth mechanic having ‘a wee look’ we realised sitting on the roadside with the hazards on was not the island hopping experience we had anticipated!
We were even lucky enough to spot sea eagles and otter out having a dusk bathe!
So simply put…go to Mull
