Hi everybody,

you’re right Finlay K, we did not understnd everything Mad John Boggie said, but anyway we understood enough to recognize he is a great entertainer. You prepared a fantastic dinner. We probably will never forget that evening.

We are soooo looking forward to seeing you next summer and introduce wee Finlay to you. “Finlay F meets Finlay Jnr.”.

Our first night ever in Scotland we spent in Caiplie House in Crail and that day was also the day we heard the name “Finlay” for the first time in our lives. That moment we did not have a clue that years later we would give your name to our son, but we liked that name from the beginning. Our stays in Crail were so great that we associate only positive things with Caiplie House and Finlay K, so we almost had no other choice than to call our son “Finlay”.

I guess he will like Scotland as much as we do and for breakfast he will probably have some porridge.

As a Yorkshireman living in France, Scottish cooking is not John’s speciality! However John does like to experiment with fusion cooking….he may surprise us!!
