It’s not too late!

Wow that was a pretty tough hundred miles in The Trossachs!

Its not too late to sponsor me

I had a really great time, perfect weather, superb organisation and a wonderful support team, Thanks Fi!!

With training in Fife the hilly terrain was a bit of a shock. Cries of ‘get in a low gear’ were no warning as I left Aberfoyle to go over The Dukes Pass. (Whoever he was did he not think about building a tunnel?)

And then it was almost funny going over Campsie Fell out of Lennoxtown after 75miles….but a great descent!

Well done Action Research…….I almost said see you next year! (well I see registration is open!)

New arrival!

I got a lovely email the other day from a client who stayed at Caiplie House two years ago, Chris Wise and his wife stopped in looking for that ‘little Scottish B&B experience’.

Here is a copy of the mail:
Finlay-

My wife and I stayed at your place two summers ago. I’m sure you don’t remember us, but we just wanted to let you know that we recently had our first child, a boy. We named him Finley (spelling different), as we always liked your name from that trip and it just stuck. Everyone asks us if it’s a family name and we tell them ‘Nope. We met a guy in Scotland with the name and really liked it.’ Just thought I’d share that with you J
Cheers-

Chris
