Fin’s Challenge 40
Friday, September 24th, 2010A small gang of friends turned up to take the challenge on Sunday. In the pouring rain on Sunday morning we looked at each other with amusement as we warmed up with Miss Motivator for the River Ness 10k.
The challenge had been set, run the 10k in minutes to match your age in years. For every minute you are out donate £1/£2/£5……£10? And convince your friends to match the donation
Please donate here
Michael Kennedy ran remotely and we trust him when he tells us he was base time plus 2 1/2 minutes! Jamie did his first sub 40 (base plus 7) Well done guys. Jim was happy with a base plus 10. John and Bruce, 10 k rookies, smashed their expected times and performed well.
I didn’t achieve the personal best I had hoped for, you don’t want to hear my excuses, finishing in just under 53 secs (base plus 13) However my secondary and tertiary goals of raising money for Highland Hospice and getting some mates out for some fun and exercise were.
So please click on my justgiving link above and donate to The Highland Hospice
