Chasing the peleton
Monday, April 11th, 2011With only five weeks until my early summer event, The Etape Caledonia I am starting to pick up the training a little bit. What a glorious weekend for getting out on the bike that was. Every time I am out I am amazed at how lovely NE Fife is for cycling. There are so many great back roads with very little traffic, rolling hills amongst rich farm land.

OK so it is a bit of a mission finding hills to match the Perthshire hills we will be racing on in May but with a bit of planning you can build a few climbs into most training runs.
I was pretty please with my 43 miles on Saturday, pretty close to the minimum required 13mph!
I will try and get out with the Crail boys during the week to practice my peleton skills!
