Toast!
I Finally got round to performing some Uncle duties a few days ago…. No sorry I havent been up North to visit my nephew Robbie in Piperhill…..however I did have a wee gathering in his honour.
Well being stuck 1200miles away it is the best I can do for a few weeks yet.
There was the added bonus of dragging a few hard working friends out of the office before 1800hrs on a Wednesday!
We went to Cafe Giovannis, a classic little Italian place which has one of the best buffets in town! I opted for a few bottles of the local fizz and Robbies health was toasted! I could get used to being an uncle…..oh yeah and Grandad was there too.
